Yesterday I read an piece on the development of a magazine ‘iTunes’ by publishers by John Koblin in the New York Observer. Whilst this seems like an obvious and good idea, I can’t help thinking they are trying to reinvent the wheel by introducing new digital formats and a new platform for people to get to grips with. The format (5 minutes maximum with slides automatically changing) was very interesting with some speakers handling it excellently, whilst others were caught out a little.
